The Entertainer by Scott Joplin, arranged by D. Ippensen, is set for S.A.T.B saxophone quartet with all of the original sections. All important melodies and harmony parts are scored in the alto and soprano instruments. The top two partsplay in unison in some of the strains; at other times the melody is in octaves or the themes are harmonized. The tenor and baritone have rhythmic, chordal accompaniments.
